Alison Crowther brings the Red Bandanna Project to Covenant School of Bridgeport
Alison Crowther visited CSB to share stories of her son, Welles Remy Crowther, and explain how the Red Bandanna Project curriculum is influencing young people throughout the world. The Red Bandanna Project was inspired by the example and spirit of Crowther's son, Welles Remy Crowther, a 9/11 Civilian Hero known around the world as the “Man in the Red Bandanna” for his selfless, heroic actions during his final hour at the World Trade Center.
Since the founding of the Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust in 2001, Alison and a team of educators have been helping young people develop into exemplary adults. The curriculum they developed is designed to instill leadership, compassion, and dedication to service.
On April 10, Alison visited with educator and curriculum developer, Vernoy Paolini, to engage the boys with their "Power of One" module, one of the curricula in the program.
